Vanilla Latte and A Nap

File this under things you shouldn't do after 5:00pm.  This is especially true if you want to go to bed before three in the morning!  I came home with a splitting headache today and decided that sleep was the best cure.  Two and half hours later I woke up with the headache gone, but also a good portion of the evening.  I got up, splashed some water on my face, and headed out to meet the crew out at the snowcone stand.  After that I headed over to Common Grounds (which I've been spending too much time at lately) to do some work and either study or read for a bit.  For some reason I decided that it would be a good idea to have a latte while I worked.  This was a bad idea - which has been made abundantly clear to me by that fact that it is 1:00am and I'm not typing a post for my blog.  No bueno.   I ended up working through e-mail for about an hour and then read for a while.  Just didn't have the motivation to work on math tonite.  I started reading You Shall Know Our Velocity this weekend.  It didn't take  long before I was hooked into it, and now I could just assume stay home tomorrow to finish reading it.  Tragically that won't happen though.

Been feeling somewhat under the weather today, so didn't run.  Really need to tomorrow, but I'm just not sure when I'm going to fit it in.  I was planning on running in the morning, but I'd say the odds are well against that happening now.

Random thought - Do you find it odd that the spellcheck on Blogger says that blog is not a word?  You think they would fix that.

I had to do an interview for an office newsletter today.  Well, its actually just a bunch of questions to fill out and send back.  One of the questions was "Do you have a quote that you live by?"  I haven't been able to think of anything yet, but curious if any of you do?

I'll leave you with a quote that haunts me at times.  Its not something that I would say that I live by (although I do currently have a copy of it in my wallet), but a good one nonetheless.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than the ones you did do.  So, throw off the bow lines.  Sail away from safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore. Dream. Discover." ~ Mark Twain
