Damn My Competitive Spirit!
If you know anybody that works in sales, you'll know that they typically don't like to lose... at all. at anything. period. So, KP has apparently begun ranking her links to people's blogs based on the frequency of their blogging. That being said, I've been downgraded! I'm not even in the top half anymore! I just can't stand for that.
I had no intentions of blogging very much this month, but now I feel the need to blog just to keep myself from losing anymore ground (and hopefully move up a spot or two). This is truly my only motivation to make this post though - because somehow blogging has all of the sudden turned into some sort of competition for me! I've got issues!
Finally got a run in on Friday. Had to work late again Friday night, so I left the office at 4 to get a run in before coming back to work. I'll be glad when December is over. Just working too many hours due to us being a bit short-staffed. Not having enough people doesn't mean that things don't get done, it just means that somebody ends up doing a lot more. So for right now, that somebody is me. Light at the end of the tunnel though in the fact that this lets up on Jan 2nd.
THE BIG NEWS OF THE DAY!!!
Some great friends of mine just made an announcement that they are expecting!! I'll withhold the name, just in case they haven't been able to tell everyone they want to yet (because this site is SOOO widely read!). But, just wanted to wish them congratulations! Couldn't be happier for both and you'll definitely be in my prayers!
