Just Some Thoughts
Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot: It doesn't matter how many times I listen to this album, I never grow tired of it. I haven't listened to A Ghost Is Born enough yet, although I have enjoyed what I have heard so far. Heard any good new albums lately? I recently picked up Gavin DeGraw's Chariot and its a good listen.
GMAT - I don't want to study for it anymore. Oh well.
Work - Having to do mid-year reviews right now - definitely not my favorite time of year. For some f'd up reason this process takes about 6 weeks and for no logical reason. The part I hate the most is having to write my self-assessment. I've never liked doing this and probably never will. Seems so pointless really.
Books - I just finished reading Traveling Mercies and am about to pick something else up. Here are my options:
They Shall Know Our Velocity (assuming Amazon ever ships it to me)
Johnny Cash - A Man Comes Around
The Da Vinci Code
Mudhouse Sabbath
Sunburned Country - Bill Bryson
Feel free to vote/comment/suggest alternatives.
Shoes - Mine are shot now, really need to go buy some new ones. Anyone want to roadtrip to Luke's? I'm also thinking about looking into a mountain bike - I'd really like to get into doing some adventure races next spring.
Training Log - I started keeping a training log of my runs since starting the marathon training on 6/24. I'm enjoying logging the runs and keeping track of the total miles. Somehow my total mileage is helping to keep me motivated on my runs because I keep wanting to add to the total. As of last night I'm at 80.4 miles since 6/24.
Cold Mountain - I just watched this on Sunday night. If you've never seen it you should do yourself a favor and pick it up sometime. Rene Zellweger does a fantastic job in this!
Superfood - The Starbucks on Wooded Acres finally started carrying my favorite juice again!! Amen!
Not very original - I just realized that I completely copied the format of Craig's post yesterday (which I just read before writing this)
