Ready For The Weekend!

This week has been BUSY kids! I've been a bit behind at work (got my head above water today though) and much has been keeping me on the move outside of work as well. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend of runs. May not sound very relaxing, but if you've been reading my blog for very long you'll know that a good run is like manna from Heaven for me!

I'm taking a vacation in a couple of weeks, although I'm just planning on staying around here and just enjoying the time off. My plan is to run every morning, maybe do a couple rides, do some reading, and that's pretty much it!I have partly considered just getting in my car and driving to the closet possible beach for the week, but probably won't happen. My goal is to possibly take the GMAT that week, so hopefully I can knock it out. The other goal is to really step up the training that week since I'm almost within 2 months of Chicago now.

I was at RunTex on Wed and ended up making the switch to a new shoe. This is always a tough process for me. I've tried to switch off the NB 880 several times, only to find myself back in another pair of them. I think this might be the one though! A good fit and MUCH lighter then my NBs. So, I'm now officially a Mizuno runner. We'll see if it lasts.

Politics & Religion - The saying is valid, they should never be talked about at work!

The Village - Supposed to go see this tonite, however I MUST run 8 miles before I can go. I've missed 3 workouts this week, and I need to make one up. Looking forward to catching this though since I've enjoyed all of his other flics. I will say this though, it doesn't take much to cause me to jump in a movie, and pretty sure that will be accomplished with this one.

Why can't I publish pics anymore?

More bad news for Saddam.

Did you know... That you can currently book a ticket for $6K to the following stops:

Miami - San Jose (Costa Rica, not CA) - Lima - Rio de Janeiro - Johannesburg - Nairobi - Amsterdam - London - Rome - Moscow - Delhi - Bangkok - Saigon - Hong Kong - Sydney - Miami

Anyone care to send me? I'll send you some postcards if so! Create your own round-the-world trip. Cheers
